Cotton Cushion Cover in Crimson and Cream from Mexico 'Crimson Maze'

Working on the traditional telar de cintura, or backstrap loom, Mexican artisan Angelina Gomez uses cotton to hand-weave this stunning cushion cover. A maze of crimson over a body of cream creates a mesmerizing design, diligently incorporated into the front of the cushion cover. At the back, it features a solid color in cream with a slit for inserting a cushion.
