?I was born in a small village called Guwang in Sukawati, Gianyar, Bali. It is commonly known by many people that Sukawati is the province of artists. Thank God, there is a vein of art that runs in my family. My father was a woodcarver when he was single. My mother opened a shop in the Sukawati traditional market and hired neighbors to help her. My parents did not just hire neighbors to help them in the shop, but also hired neighbors who could carve. And I love traditional dancing and drawing.

?When I was a little girl, I used to help my father to sort the raw material before it was given to neighbors to do the carving. I was happy to help them, yet my father passed away when I still in elementary school, and then my mother also passed away two years later. Becoming an orphan when I was just a little girl made me grow up to be an independent and strong woman. I was no longer able to rely on someone back home. I had to work to provide for my life and also my education.

?I did many jobs so I could survive. When I was in high school, I opened an Instagram account to sell clothes. I also became a traditional dancer. Because I loved dancing since I was little, the way I danced in high school was already good. So I would often get jobs to dance at large events. I did that even through high school and in college. Thank God, for the result of all of that made me able to open a shop to sell my clothes.

?I also learned how to sew and design by myself. I am proud to sell my own designs, not just clothes from other people. Besides making clothes, I also learned to make other fashion items. And when the pandemic hit the world, I started to make beautiful face masks. The face masks are not just able to protect us, but also make us feel pretty. So I design the face masks with hand-painted motifs. Luckily I found a way to promote my face masks. I hope I can make you feel beautiful all the time, even when you have to wear face masks.?
