Hand-carved in a teakwood pendant, the image is Ashong's adaptation of one of the key regalia worn by the Ashanti King on special occasions, such as the Adae Kese Festival, a grand celebration of soul cleansing for the king. The regal pendant centers an adjustable leather necklace for men.
