Hand-Embroidered Light Pink Paisley Motif Shawl from India 'Pink Blush'

This graceful cotton-silk blend shawl is designed by Uma Tripathi and is hand-embroidered with traditional Indian chikankari work, where patterns are block-printed onto fabric to use as a guide for the hand-embroidery. The shawl's natural ivory color is accented with light pink jali paisley, floral blooms and leaves, and tiny metallic details throughout the entire panel. The ends of the shawl are neatly stitched with ivory rayon thread, employing another traditional embroidery style, kamdani, displaying triangle motifs that evoke hills.
