Working with her brother and a handful of local women artisans, Uma Tripathi creates beautiful apparel and fashion accessories. This cotton and silk blend shawl features India's chikan embroidery, which originated in Lucknow. The floral motifs are block-printed onto the sheer crimson wrap, then embroidered by hand. The artisan finishes the shawl with crocheted lace borders and petite metallic zari thread accents that shine in the light.
