?My name is Nana Abena Afriyie Darko. I am a young lady who is into art and lives in Accra, Ghana. I was raised in a very happy and peaceful home. I took over the love of art from my dad, who studied art and specialized in ceramics at the university. I believe that I have acquired some of his traits that will lead me on in this life.

?I think of myself as a very friendly, sociable and creative person. Since childhood I have
loved art, and I guess it runs through the blood. I love fashion, and took delight in making sketches of ladies' dresses when I was in high school. My dad saw my interest in fashion and I enrolled me in a fashion school called Riohs Fashion School, where I learned to come up with lots of creative ideas in fashion. I am presently at level two hundred, continuing with the same program at the Radford University.

?Most of my artworks are my own creations. I also take a lot of inspiration from videos I watch online to create my own patterns in order to get accurate measurements for my art pieces. I practice sewing on my own, using materials like plain and printed African fabrics, which are readily available on the market.

?One beautiful thing I love about my art is the process I have to go through to arrive at
the final piece. Though it is challenging, I learn a lot from the precision and patience one
needs to have to get a desirable piece. My greatest inspiration comes from what I see and by looking at pieces of other designers. My hallmark in designing is perfection, creativity and a good outcome of my work. My aim is to provide my customers with good quality, reusable items. I love to contribute to helping the world to stop the deadly Corona virus.?
