"I was born in the city of Guadalajara. It was from my grandmother and later my mother that I learned the craft of sewing. They occasionally made dresses, shawls, and other garments. <br><br>
"And ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to put those years of education and sewing into practice. <br><br>
"Now under the current Coronavirus situation, I wanted to take advantage of this knowledge and create my own face mask designs. With the help of my son Daniel, we have further expanded our collection of masks that are so necessary at this time. <br><br>
"And so the circumstances won't prevent you from having a piece of Mexico in your day-to-day lives."
Maria Cristina uses colorful prints, handwoven fabrics and bright Mexican bandanas in her unique mask designs.
