"I was born in Central Java in a town known for its batik art. This now inspires my designs. I'm the fifth of eleven children and I like traveling, swimming and making new things. <br><br>
"After graduating from the university in Jogjakarta, I worked as a lecturer and teacher until 2010. My husband is a leather entrepreneur and also teaches classes in leather technology. Today, I work in leather as well. <br><br>
"I use only the best leather and my designs are more classic style in style. In addition to my handbags, I recently began developing leather jewelry, which makes use of the scraps so nothing is wasted. <br><br>
"In my workshop, I am assisted by four artisans, some of whom have disabilities. I also give work to mothers who live nearby. We prepare and tan the leather ourselves. <br><br>
"We went through a very difficult moment when my husband resigned from a job and we had to go back and start from zero. Thank God, we got through these problems. <br><br>
"We have one daughter who makes us really happy. She makes my day and has made me more responsible for everything in life, especially for her future."
