"I was born in Nsawam, eastern Ghana, and I am skilled silversmith with over 25 years of experience crafting jewelry. I am married and we have four children, and I believe creativity runs in my family: my elder brother is Emmanuel Nyadedzor, who specializes in wood carving and who has been with Novica for many years now.

"My father was a master craftsman and he taught me. I started as a young boy helping out at the workshop with great pleasure. With a lot of determination and discipline I mastered the craft and later joined the family business after my secondary education. I have been doing this ever since.

"I took over the family business after my father passed away. I work with two apprentices and I have taught several people over the years. I hope to expand the workshop to accommodate more apprentices in the near future, so that I may help my community especially by training our youth.

"What I like most about jewelry is the ability to create something beautiful out of a bland piece of metal. The inspiration for my designs comes from the rich culture of Ghana, and also from what comes to me in my dreams.

"The major challenges I face is access to ready market and funding for expansion. However I believe the opportunity of joining forces with Novica will help me overcome these challenges, which makes me very happy. I'm also excited about joining my brother in Novica!"
