The Carpenters of Atitlan group was formed in 2014 as a part of four schools belonging to a social program. The program also teaches iron work, computing and tailoring with the objective of offering low income families nearby the opportunity to learn a trade. This will enable them to create a steady income for their families, who can also get ahead in the community.
